I was talking with Scott about this idea of mashing up characters and how to use the slabbing process to give a cover a different look. There are wraparound covers but I'm not overly thrilled with how the art image gets cut in half with the slab. So I floated this idea of front view/back view with Scott and pitched the idea of Black Widow going John McClane. Have Black Widow look like she'd been getting roughed up and show her giving up on the front cover, but have the back show she's really going Die Hard. Scott said he liked the idea and wanted a shot a putting it together and this is the result. Gotta say that I really liked how it came together. Yippee-ki-yay!
